The QUICK TSS10C-7DU-01 is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 200W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is specially designed for through-hole soldering work with medium to increased thermal demand. With its THT-optimized geometry, 4.5 mm inner size and 8.0 mm outer size, it is especially suitable for larger through-hole connections where pin and plated through-hole need to be heated safely, evenly and with sufficient thermal reserve.
Unlike standard tip geometries, this THT tip is specifically adapted to through-hole applications. In THT joints, heat must be transferred into both the component lead or pin and the solder eye at the same time. This is exactly what this geometry is designed for. Due to its larger size, it can transfer more heat to the joint than finer tip shapes and therefore makes soldering easier on larger or more heat-dissipating through-hole connections.
In combination with the QUICK TS10 system, the TSS10C-7DU-01 is especially suitable for production, repair, rework and service when through-hole components, larger connectors or stronger terminal contacts need to be processed. The tip is designed for practical heat transfer and supports fast, even work on typical THT solder joints.
The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300°C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating. An integrated thermocouple and the integrated chip for the individual calibration value support reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station.
