The Quick Longlife soldering iron is suitable for continuous use for soldering or tinning electrical components and has an integrated temperature sensor. The temperature can be precisely adjusted and monitored to suit the application and solder used.
The temperature sensor is located in a separate closed loop to avoid being affected by the operating voltage of the heating element. This ensures extremely precise temperature control.
The heating element encloses the soldering pot, rather than just sitting under it, to ensure particularly even heating of the material.
The desired temperature can be conveniently set using the function keys and accurately read on the solder bath using the LCD display. You can also use the display to calibrate the temperature or adjust the automatic switch-off.
The solder bath crucible is made of an erosion- and heat-resistant titanium alloy to ensure a long service life.
The high-quality alloy material also makes the solder bath suitable for lead-free applications.
An additional slag remover and a slag collection container are included to remove solder oxidation.
Temperature-controlled, electrically heated melting pots are particularly suitable for the immersion tinning of small and medium-sized plug connectors, enamelled copper wires, strand ends, connecting wires, cable shoes or similar tasks that should be carried out evenly and reproducibly.
