Area of application

Wrist grounding, a safe method of dissipating electrostatic charges from people, consists of an adjustable wrist strap with woven silver-plated plastic fibers (close skin contact required) and a spiral cable that connects the wrist strap to the grounding point via push buttons (DK) in an electrically conductive manner. The spiral cable contains a safety resistor of 1 MOhm on each connection side and is approved for use in workplaces with a rated voltage of up to 250 VAC. ESD mat suitable for table, shelf, or floor.

Technical product description

Products comply with the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1. Technical data of the mat: Abrasion (load: 5N) 130 mm³, hardness 78 Shore A, indentation test 0.1 mm, light reflectance 19% – 29%, temperature range up to + 60°C. Adjustable elastic wrist strap with woven silver-plated plastic fibers, allergy-free. Meets the safety requirements for wrist grounding according to BGFE. To ensure adequate insulation, the wrist strap must only be stored in a dry place. Washing instructions for the wrist strap: Standard machine wash up to 30°C with color and mild detergent, dry at low temperature (gentle), do not bleach! Avoid contact with acidic/alkaline solvents. ESD protection remains intact for approx. 30 washes.
