The QK443C is a portable tabletop device with LED display for generating a balanced ion balance. Needles are charged with positive and negative ions via a DC generator. The fan transports the charged air flow to the desired objects to neutralize the charge there.
When this air flow hits an electrostatically charged object, the charge is neutralized. If the object has a negative charge, it attracts positive ions from the air flow; if it has a positive charge, it attracts negative ions from the air flow.
The device is used in workplaces for the manufacture and processing of electronic components to ensure ESD protection of the components on the one hand and to prevent contamination by electrostatically attracted dust particles on the other. It can also be used when static charge is a problem, e.g., attraction of dirt, misalignment of very small parts, or unwanted adhesion of plastic films.
The ionizer is usually placed on the workbench near the area to be neutralized. It can also be mounted on the wall or on a shelf. If the table stand is mounted on the device, please use M4 screws to secure the device.
The device can be connected to a PC via the RS-485 interface. This allows up to 99 devices to be monitored simultaneously. An alarm is triggered as soon as the ion balance is no longer balanced.
The device should be placed approximately 300 mm to 900 mm away from the critical work area or the objects to be neutralized. It should be positioned so that it covers as much area as possible with the ionized air flow. The air flow can be directed upwards or downwards by tilting the device on the stand.
Ionization balance/voltage difference: less than +/-10V, according to ANSI/ESD-S20.20-2014 standard
Output voltage: +/-5000 VDC
Alarm setting for ionization balance deviation: +/-15V – +/-50V
Ozone generation: <0.01 ppm (measured at a distance of 15 cm at low fan speed)
Operating temperature: 0-50°C
Weight: 1.7 kg
Dimensions W-H-D: 19x24x9.5cm
Effective ionization area: 40×150 cm
Noise level at a distance of 1 m: max. 45 dB
The metal grid is attached magnetically. It can be removed by turning it clockwise by 90°. The ion needles are now accessible and can be cleaned.
