The QUICK infrared ceramic heating plate was developed for users who want to temper printed circuit boards in a more defined and component-friendly manner before soldering, desoldering, or reworking. Uniform preheating reduces temperature gradients, improves wetting during soldering, and reduces the risk of conductor track detachment—especially with multilayer boards or large ground planes. Operation is designed for a fast workflow: Two memory locations for standard temperatures and an additional channel for a programmable temperature profile enable reproducible processes with just a few keystrokes. For precise control, an external K-type sensor can measure directly on the circuit board, allowing preheating and rework to be optimally adapted to the respective assembly.
