The QUICK 201B external vacuum line filter is an original replacement part for the QUICK TV2+ desoldering station. It is installed outside the main unit in the vacuum line between the desoldering handpiece and the station.

During desoldering, solder and other residues are drawn into the handpiece by the vacuum system. The ceramic filter inside the handpiece provides the first filtration stage. Residues that pass through this filter are collected by the external 201B line filter.

By retaining these remaining contaminants, the external filter protects the vacuum pump motor from residues carried through the suction line. It therefore forms an important second filtration stage within the TV2+ vacuum system.

The filter has a defined installation direction. The side marked “Connect to main unit” must face the desoldering station. The opposite side is connected to the line coming from the desoldering handpiece. Reversed installation can impair the operation of the filter and vacuum line.

The 201B is supplied as a closed filter unit. It cannot be opened, cleaned or reused. When replacement is required, the complete filter unit must be exchanged.
