The ERSA RDS 80 soldering station is processor-controlled and, in addition to the direct selection of 3 programmable temperatures, offers other useful features such as a standby and auto-power-off function and a large, easy-to-read LCD display.
The powerful PTC heating element of the RT 80 soldering iron takes on the function of the temperature sensor with this temperature control technology and guarantees extremely fast heating up thanks to its high initial power. With the large selection of ERSADUR soldering tips from the 832 and 842 series, the ERSA RDS 80 can be used to solve almost any soldering task for the hobby electronics engineer, as well as simple applications in industry.
