Area of application
Very fine side cutters with narrow, pointed pliers head. This version is available with or without a notch. The pliers are suitable for cutting general resistance wire, solder wire, winding wire, and heating wire (thermocouple wire). Especially for copper wire, brass wire, steel wire, iron wire, aluminum wire, bond wire, tin wire, nickel wire, gold wire, silver wire, platinum wire, tungsten copper wire, tungsten wire, glass fiber, and Kevlar. Please observe the cutting values in the pliers sleeves and care instructions to ensure the longevity of your pliers. Technical product description
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: High humidity or touching the pliers head with your fingers (sweat) can cause flash rust. Therefore, the pliers should always be kept dry or rubbed with oil if stored for long periods. If flash rust does form on the pliers head, it can be removed quite easily by lightly sanding it down. Our ESD tools comply with the following ESD standards: DIN EN 61340-5-1; VDE 0300-5-1:2017-07; DIN EN 61340-2-1; VDE 0300-2-1:2016-07; DIN EN 61340-4-6; VDE 0300-4-6:2016-04. With the pliers sleeves, we achieve a dissipation resistance of 10^6 to 10^9 ohms. Please note that the use of hand tools alone is not sufficient to prevent electrostatic charging. General information
The TECHNICline pliers series is made of high-quality ball bearing steel with exceptional cutting performance for extremely high requirements and demands. The pliers are scratch-resistant, matt polished, non-reflective, and glare-free for optimal working under a magnifying glass or microscope. The precisely symmetrical, induction-hardened cutting edges have a hardness of 63-65 HRC, enabling them to achieve particularly high cutting values. These sturdy cutting edges are suitable for a wide variety of hard wires. If required, HRC 81 is also available as a carbide cutter made of tungsten carbide steel, only for selected models – please inquire. The screwed precision joint with hardened nut (made of alloy steel) ensures perfect joint adjustment and durability even under high cutting loads. Ergonomically shaped, conductive 2-component hand protection sleeves offer a comfortable feel and optimal relief for the hand muscles thanks to the stainless steel double leaf spring.
