SelectIF 2040 is a VOC-free and no-clean flux developed for selective soldering. The flux combines a large process window in the selective soldering process with little residue. SelectIF 2040 is suitable for soldering
of assemblies with high thermal mass in processes with high temperatures and long process times. Due to its special composition, the flux leaves less residue after soldering than conventional selective soldering flux. With the correct settings, the flux residue around the solder joints, which is typical for selective soldering, can be eliminated.

SelectIF 2040 has little tendency to solder balling after soldering. The flux is compatible with lead-free and lead-based alloys. The flux is completely halogen-free, which ensures a very high level of reliability after the soldering process.
